The core objective of the program is to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to become qualified bilingual services providers, by meeting the criteria set forth by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association ASHA. Students will acquire knowledge relating to standards, protocols, diagnostic methods, treatment approaches, and current trends in the area of bilingual speech-language pathology. The Bilingual Certification Program is intended for speakers of a variety of languages, and is not language-specific. All students who are members of the incoming class will then receive an application for the Bilingual Certification Program via email. This typically occurs in the summer before your first semester of graduate study.
